Solar Basics
PV Solar has quickly become a viable option for home and business owners alike. PV stands for Photovoltaic, which means when the sun shines, the panels cells become excited and produce energy.
How It Works
When the sun shines, your system is producing power. Solar energy systems are tied in to the electric grid through your homes existing electrical system. When the system produces more than it needs, the excess is pushed back onto the grid and your meter will build a credit until you need it later.
